ARC: A Drum and Dance Experience – This is not a KyoDaiko performance, but it includes three amazing taiko players we know and love (Isaku Kageyama, Kristy Oshiro and Joe Small) so we highly recommend it! Conceptualized by composer and artistic director Lenny Seidman, ARC is an original, evening length performance suite presented for one night only at Swarthmore College. The project brings together the drumming traditions of tabla from North India and taiko from Japan, with contemporary Western, African Diasporic, and Southeast Asian dance. Event is FREE and open to the public, but reserve your free, general seating ticket and get there well before the 8 pm start ensure a good seat!
