Apr 13 & Apr 20 (Sat), 10:00 am – 3:00 pm ~ Cherry Blossom Days at Morris Arboretum

Immerse yourself in Japanese culture amidst a gorgeous collection of cherry blossom trees and other Japanese garden elements at the Morris Arboretum. KyoDaiko will perform at 10:30 am and 12:00 pm both days. Depending on the date, you can also see tea ceremony, a samurai arts demonstration, bonsai exhibit and more. Details at: Morris Arboretum

 

Apr 26 (Fri), between 8:00am-4:00pm ~ Faith and Spiritual Affairs Conference: Health Justice

It will be a full day of exploring the intersections of mental, physical, spiritual and community health at the Philadelphia Convention Center. KyoDaiko will close out the event with some interactive taiko thunder! For details go to: DBHIDS

 

Apr 27 (Sat), between 1:00-4:30 pm ~ Kent County Library Sakura Mini Matsuri (Delaware)

The library will celebrate spring with a mini cherry blossom festival. Enjoy traditional Japanese dance and a kimono demonstration by Kuniko Kanawa, a presentation on the history of anime/manga/cosplay by the Delaware Anime Society, taiko drumming and more! Details here: Kent County Delaware Public Library
